Frequently Asked Questions
Campaign Delivery
How long does it take for a campaign to start?
After purchase you will immediately be sent a form to fill out the details of your campaign. Our media buying team at VENAD will begin working on your campaign within one business day. Review times can take between 1 and 3 business days depending on any disapprovals and other factors out of our control. If we can not get your campaign approved within 10 business days we will contact you and either issue a full refund or you can submit additional media assets that have a higher likelihood of passing policy review.
Most campaigns will begin in under 2 business days.
How long will a campaign take to finish?
This is somewhat up to you, when you fill out the form, we will ask for a campaign duration suggestion and we will do our best to set up delivery pacing to meet your goal. Campaigns can run for up to 90 days. We generally advise for a minimum duration of 7 days so the delivery system has time to optimize.
Have a larger monthly budget? You might want to investigate our complete ads management service here.
Why is a campaign taking longer than requested to finish?
There can be a number of reason for this. Ads will sometimes disapprove a video ad that doesn't actually violate any of their content policies. Most initial reviews are automated and done by AI, and this can result in a lot of false positives. When that happens we go through an appeal process, sometimes multiple rounds of appeal to get the video approved. This can take up to a week or even longer in some cases.
Another reason that a campaign might take longer than requested to finish is if there isn't enough volume in the auction market. We use bid caps and other parameters to make sure we are only targeting the right user and to keep everything within budget it can restrict volume. Generally the remedy for that is to extend the end date of the campaign so we have more time throughout the day to capture the user impressions needed to complete the campaign.
Can you burst a campaign over a 24-72 period?
Yes. However, by doing so we can't guarantee how expensive the impressions will be. By bursting in a short period of time we would be opening up bid caps and grabbing as many impressions as we can in as short of a period as possible. In some cases, this can lead to a 5-10x more expensive campaign compared to running that same campaign over a 28 day period or longer.
Campaign Results
Do you have a dashboard where I can review results?
For full service clients at venad.com we provide Google Data Studio dashboards which allows you to track real-time results from all ad platforms.
For clients ordering campaigns through our shopping portal at shop.venad.com, you will review results within the analytics side of the platform we buy media on. For example, for YouTube campaigns you will log in to your Creator Studio and view all analytics there.
